Shabtai Bakery products- gluten and casein free!

I was contacted through this blog by someone from Shabtai Gourmet Bakery and offered a sampling of their gluten free, casein free products for my family to try. The kids were very excited about taste-testing sweets, especially after the box arrived. We ripped open the parcel upon delivery to find boxes of the following products:

Raspberry Roll

Swiss Chocolate Roll

Florentine Lace Cookies

and, last but not least, their Bon Bons!

ALL were gluten free and casein free!

The Florentine Lace Cookies were crunchy and chocolaty. Perfect with coffee!
The coconut covered Raspberry Roll was my favorite though. StarBUCK's too. It could have been served at any event without anyone knowing it was gluten and casein free.

The Bon Bons were Java's favorite. They have a crispy chocolate cookie on the bottom with a creamy center and a chocolate coating. They were my second favorite. StarBUCK's too. (We've obviously been married a long time.)

This was Bean's favorite. The Swiss Chocolate Roll. It reminded him of those smaller swiss cake rolls he used to find in his lunchbox once in a while.

We are trying to be careful about sugar but these products would definitely make a birthday or other event special for someone living gluten and casein free. Java has already picked out the cake she wants me to order for her birthday...

Shabtai Gourmet makes these goodies in a facility that is allergen (gluten, casein, lactose, soy, peanut and dairy) free so there is no fear of cross contamination. Many grocery stores carry their products, including the one I now frequent because of their good selection of gluten and casein free foods.
